Caringbah Dental Care is constantly monitoring the coronavirus outbreak.

Caringbah Dental Care is QIP accredited dental practice, meeting high infection standard set by Australian Dental Association, such as use of face masks for every patients, vigorous hand hygiene, cleaning/disinfection of clinical surfaces and use of autoclaves to sterilise instruments.

None of our staff members have travelled to the following countries with coronavirus outbreak in the last 6 months:

• China
• Cambodia
• Hong Kong
• Indonesia
• Iran
• Italy
• Japan
• Singapore
• South Korea
• Thailand.

Caringbah Dental Care is working closely with Australian Dental Association update and advice on coronavirus update, policy, and prevention as well as regularly monitor situation through Department of Health, Smart Traveller and NSW Health.

Current advices from NSW Health include:

• Clean your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based hand rub.
• Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed elbow
• Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms.
• Practice cough etiquette (keep away from other people, cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing, and clean your hands.
• Travellers to Asia should not visit live bird and animal markets, including ‘wet’ markets.

Caringbah Dental Care will regularly monitor, update prevention policy and strategy as necessary.
